Controls Engineer - Sterling Heights, MI

This position is responsible for the design, programming, installation, and continuous improvement of automated manufacturing systems. The Controls Engineer will support World Class Manufacturing initiatives by developing and maintaining PLC programs, robotics systems, industrial networks, and electrical controls to improve equipment reliability and manufacturing performance.

The Controls Engineer will lead automation projects, support start-up activities, troubleshoot complex control systems, and assist with integrating robotics and vision systems into new and existing equipment. This position will also train and support controls technicians.

The Controls Engineer is expected to follow safety and environmental compliances.
